We had a session on Tuesday with ou teaching staff looking at Leodore Selenier's idea ... "what if money were no object?"
We watched a short video clip (click here) that challenged us to think of what we would absolutely love to do and then we took this a step further... putting it into the context of teaching and learning.
What if money were not important to the curriculum decisions?
What would our class learning climate look like?
What would you really like to teach / learn about?
Quite a challenging notion for classroom teachers who like/need/have to be in control of what children are learning and being taught.
What do they [teachers/students] desire?
And why are we not teaching that to them? Some quite provocative questions really!
