First two weeks completed!

I have managed myself into the third week of term as the Acting Principal and I am blown away by the scope of the work I have had to undertake, or manage.

Here are a few events that have ocurred in my first two weeks;

  • appointed a fixed term staff member
  • recieved a resignation (this was in the pipe line prior to me starting)
  • In discussions with Reading Recovery to replace staff member temporarily

  • ACC is now initiating pay discussions (A first for our school)
  • two children at school in wheelchairs as a result of non-school accidents - ACC now initiating support (A first for our school)
